We are now offering an exciting one-year Clinical Data Trainee Internship, designed to provide aspiring professionals with hands-on experience in Clinical Data Management (CDM) within the global clinical research industry.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Data Trainee, you will work closely with experienced data management professionals, gaining practical exposure to the full data management lifecycle—from database setup to data cleaning and validation. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn industry standards, tools, and best practices in a supportive, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection, entry, and validation for clinical trials.
• Support database setup, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation.
• Perform data quality checks and track data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data delivery.
• Maintain compliance with Clinfocus SOPs, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
• Participate in internal training sessions and project meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree (First Class) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data tools.
• Willingness to learn new clinical data systems and processes.

Desirable:

• Basic understanding of clinical research and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical, or REDCap.
• Exposure to data analysis or programming (SAS, SQL, or Python) is an advantage.
